1. What do I need to become a Usenet affiliate?
All that is required is a marketing mindset and a drive to earn commissions. You don't even need a website (although having your own website helps). You can promote any and all of our Usenet provider partners (Easynews, Newshosting, UsenetServer, Pure Usenet, and XLned) via banner and text link placement on your sites, search engines, internet forum and blog posts, or by simply emailing your friends or network with information regarding any and all of these Usenet services.

All you need to do is send a visitor to Easynews, Newshosting, UsenetServer, Pure Usenet, or XLned via your affiliate link and if he or she purchases a Usenet newsgroup access plan, you will automatically get paid a commission.

2. How do I know I will be paid for my referral?
Usenet Junction operates a robust, state-of-the-art affiliate tracking software that uses a combination of cookies and IP addresses to track your referrals for the absolute best possible reliability. When a visitor clicks through your affiliate link to Easynews, Newshosting, UsenetServer, Pure Usenet, or XLned, the Usenet Junction affiliate system places a cookie on his or her computer. When the visitor registers and pays for a Usenet service plan or fee trial, the affiliate system checks for the cookie and automatically credits your account.

3. Is there a waiting period before my commissions are approved?
Pure Usenet, and XLned
Your commission will be approved once the visitor you referred has made a purchase.

Easynews, UsenetServer and Newshosting
Your commission will be approved automatically as soon as your referred visitor has made a purchase. For example, if a referred customer signs up for a free 14 day/10 GB trial, your commission will remain "pending" until he or she stays on beyond the 14 days or downloads more than 10 GB, whichever comes first. At that point, when your referred subscriber becomes a paying customer, your affiliate commission will be approved. If your referred customer purchases a Usenet access plan directly without a free trial, your commission will be immediately approved.

*Please note that the $10 UsenetServer High-Speed Plus, $9.99 Newshosting Unlimited and $9.95 Easynews Unlimited NNTP Only special accounts must be active for 2 consecutive billing cycles prior to commission approval. Additionally, no commissions are supported for the 3-Day UsenetServer account.

For more information about affiliate commissions and our payment procedure, please visit our Commissions page here.

4. Are there sale/conversion minimums that I must meet in order to be paid out?
You will be paid out once you reach a commission balance of $100 or more. If you don't reach that balance in a given month, your commissions will continue to be carried over to future months until you do reach $100.

5. How is my commission payment handled?
Setting up an account is easy and completely free. You don't have to pay for becoming an affiliate. All affiliate commission balances of $100 or more are automatically processed by the 15th of every month. Payments can be made via check or PayPal for all affiliates and businesses.

*New affiliate commissions are subject to a payment set up and review period, which can take up to 60 days from first valid referral.

6. How do I set up an account?
Setting up an account is very easy and is completely free. All you need to do is register by filling out the Signup Form here. After the Usenet Junction team reviews your application, you will receive an email with your password and other information on how to get started.

You will have 24x7 access to your affiliate control panel where you can see detailed statistics on traffic and sales you referred, news and training materials, and a variety of banners and text links.

7. What is the affiliate link?
An affiliate link is a special URL through which you refer your visitors. This URL includes your unique affiliate ID that is used to track all activity back to your account, including commissions for referrals. You will get the URL's for our Usenet partners in your affiliate panel after you login.

8. Can I promote you through pay-per-click search engines?
Yes. You can promote our Usenet partners through pay-per-click search engines. In fact, this type of promotion has become increasingly popular and several affiliates have become quite successful by promoting our products in this way. HOWEVER, you may not bid on the brand name terms nor use site URLS as the display URLS in any search placement for Usenet Junction or any of our Usenet provider partners. In addition, all affiliates must refrain from using the word "official" or any such synonyms in any search placement campaigns.

9. Do you have any training programs for affiliates?
Yes, the basics of affiliate marketing and most useful tips are available in your affiliate panel. You will also have a dedicated affiliate manager who will work with you directly and offer strategic feedback for optimizing conversions.
